My two friends and I booked the Jomsom Muktinath Horse Ride Trek through Actual Adventure and were blown away by the professionalism of the company. Mr. Sushil Tiwari was very responsive to our emails and flexible with our preferences. We wanted a comfortable yet adventurous way to reach Muktinath, and this trek delivered exactly that.
Our guide, Lakpa Tamang, was experienced and funny—he taught us about local customs and even some Nepali words! Riding horses along the Kali Gandaki gorge was such a thrilling experience. The horses were sure-footed and handled the terrain better than we ever could on foot. The scenery changed every hour—from pine forests to barren mountains to traditional Thakali villages.
What impressed us most was the way Actual Adventure combined adventure with comfort. The guesthouses were warm, the food was tasty, and we even had Wi-Fi in some places! The cultural side of this trek, especially visiting the ancient monasteries in Kagbeni and Jharkot, added a lot of depth. As a solo female traveler, I was slightly nervous about doing a remote trek on horseback, but Actual Adventure, led by Kedar Neupane, took care of everything. From airport pickup to organizing all permits and logistics, their attention to detail was top-notch. I had a phenomenal time paragliding from Sarangkot, thanks to Actual Adventure. Mr. Sushil Tiwari, the company’s manager, was highly responsive and coordinated everything from start to finish. The drive up to Sarangkot was scenic and exciting, with glimpses of the Himalayas peeking through the clouds.
At the launch point, the team ensured we were properly geared up. My pilot, Suraj, was excellent—he was both calm and knowledgeable, which helped ease my nerves. As we lifted off the mountain, the feeling was pure freedom. We flew smoothly over Phewa Lake, with sweeping views of Pokhara and the majestic Annapurna range in the distance.

If you’re in Pokhara and looking for something unforgettable, paragliding with Actual Adventure is a must! I booked the flight last minute, and Mr. Sushil Tiwari quickly arranged everything with no fuss. The team picked me up at my hotel early morning, and by 9 a.m., I was standing at the edge of Sarangkot ready to fly.
The views were incredible—Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Phewa Lake all glistening below. I was fortunate to fly with Rajan, a calm and experienced pilot who explained everything clearly. I joined the Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Tour in May 2025 and still can’t believe how magical it was. Organized by Actual Adventure, the team was punctual, professional, and passionate. Sushil Tiwari, the company manager, personally greeted us in Pokhara and briefed us on the day’s plan.
Flying toward the Annapurna range was like entering another world — peaks pierced the sky and valleys were covered in emerald green. The pilot did a fantastic job navigating through mountain gaps while explaining key landmarks. Our guide Dinesh pointed out Machapuchare and Annapurna South, and helped us understand the spiritual importance of these mountains.
We landed softly at base camp, where the chill in the air and the silence was unforgettable. Unlike crowded treks, we had the place almost to ourselves. We drank tea, clicked pictures, and just stood still, awestruck.
Group join made this economical, and it felt like we were on a private trip anyway. I recommend doing this in spring (March–May) for the clearest skies. I’ll definitely be back for another adventure with this incredible team.

The ABC helicopter day tour by Actual Adventure was one of the best travel experiences of my life. As someone who enjoys nature but doesn’t have time for long hikes, this one-day tour was perfect. Sushil Tiwari, the manager, was professional and ensured every detail — from hotel pickup to weather briefings — was clear and timely.
We joined a group of 5 for the flight, and it was a smooth and safe ride. The helicopter flew low enough for us to enjoy incredible views of Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna South. Our guide, Pema, shared insights about the area’s Sherpa and Gurung heritage.
At the base camp, we were given enough time to walk around, take photos, and breathe in the thin mountain air. The serenity of being at 4,130 meters with no crowd was surreal. We even spotted a few trekkers who were on their 7th day of walking — and there we were in 30 minutes!
I highly recommend this for families or anyone with limited time. I’ll be back in 2026 and might do it again with my parents!

As someone who had always dreamed of seeing Mount Everest, this trek was a dream come true — and Actual Adventure made it happen with exceptional care and precision. The 9-day Everest View Trek with Actual Adventure was a peaceful escape into nature. I had a short holiday window and wanted a Himalayan experience that didn't require extreme altitude. This was the perfect fit.

I chose the 9-day Everest View Trek because I didn’t have time for the full EBC trek, and I’m so glad I did. Actual Adventure delivered on every promise, and Mr. Sushil Tiwari was excellent at handling all logistics — flights, permits, and accommodations were all perfectly arranged.
My guide, Dawa Lama, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He helped us understand Sherpa culture and pointed out all the major peaks along the trail. The trek to Namche and then up to Tengboche was filled with jaw-dropping views of Ama Dablam and Everest itself.
What made this trek special was the slower pace. I never felt rushed, and the daily distances were manageable, even for someone with moderate fitness. The teahouses were clean and welcoming, and the food was always hot and satisfying.

My 9-day Everest View Trek with Actual Adventure was one of the most enriching journeys of my life. From the moment I landed in Kathmandu, the team took great care of me. Mr. Sushil Tiwari, the manager, was warm, responsive, and made all arrangements seamless. The trek itself was a great balance of adventure and comfort — ideal for someone who wants to experience the Everest region without going all the way to Base Camp.
Our guide, Pasang Sherpa, was fantastic. He shared local stories, ensured our safety, and had deep knowledge of the trails and monasteries. Highlights included the hike to Tengboche Monastery and waking up in Namche Bazaar with a view of Mt. Everest!
We stayed in cozy teahouses, had delicious meals, and enjoyed great company. The pace was perfect for acclimatization, and the views were surreal. I especially appreciated the flexible itinerary and personal attention we received throughout.

Climbing Ama Dablam was a long-held dream, and Actual Adventure made it possible. From my first conversation with Mr. Sushil Tiwari, I could sense their experience in managing high-altitude expeditions. Sushil managed permits, transportation, hotels, and briefing meetings with absolute precision. At Base Camp, everything was organized and clean, including our personal tents and mess tent. Lakpa Sherpa, our climbing guide, is a true mountain professional. Calm, skilled, and motivating—he led every rope section with focus and care. The acclimatization rotation was intense but well-paced. We had medical checks, gear inspections, and daily briefings, which made a big difference. The Actual Adventure kitchen crew prepared fantastic meals every day, even above 5,000 meters. On summit day, we began at 2 AM and reached the top around 8:30. The sunrise behind Everest was unforgettable. Coming down safely was just as important, and Lakpa ensured we all descended securely.
